We are lucky enough to own a lovely self-catering
holiday apartment right next to the beach, and you're
very welcome to take advantage of it.
The apartment has a spacious bedroom with a very comfy
king-size bed and remote-controlled TV with six English
channels. Patio doors lead onto a spacious balcony
area that has views of the beach, marina and Atlantic
Ocean. It gets the afternoon/evening sun so is the
perfect place to enjoy a glass or two of wine. The
open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge is equipped with everything
you need for a self-catering break - we've gone to
great lengths to ensure it feels like home from home.
Downstairs, the tranquil, spacious pool area offers
restful, uninterrupted views over the sea and is a
fabulous place to top up your tan.
The apartment complex itself is renowned for being
friendly, and is located just 8km from the airport,
though it is not in the flight path. Within a few
metres you will find a shop, pub, beach, marina, beach-front
restaurants and bars, award-winning golf courses,
health spa, coastal walks ... the list goes on! A
10-minute drive takes you to the hustle and bustle
of Playa de Las Americas, with a variety of watersports,
clubs and theme parks to enjoy. And if you fancy hiring
a car, the island is incredibly varied and beautiful:
in just one day you can eat icecream on Las Terrasitas
Beach, throw snowballs on Mount Teide, enjoy a romantic
picnic in the cool pine forest, and explore tiny,
remote fishing villages. Tenerife really does have
it all.
